Q.How do you feel our butoh
perfomance of TOMOE SHIZUNE & HAKUTOBO?
ISOZAKI ARATA :
Very very wonderful! It explains how the image
is told in this room. The one like the soul in another world stays
most first in stones, in the shadow , in the tree of the design
of the stage, and it changes to the dancer. It which changed to
the dancer is transmitted to the spectator for the first time.
This room is such a structure. The one like so-called <"hi" it
when it says in Japanese> "Spirit". "God" in old timesAs for all
the ancient the one of Japan, such "Intangible the one" thought
about request in our world. It was an art in the art situation.
The one of dancing also. Ground is not stepped like these all,
and it "dances". Therefore, I think that having been performed
here now is continuity of that "dance" perhaps. I associate the
current concept very much in such a meaning. I think that actually
did it. It is assumed that it is truly fit. It is felt that there
was an effect where this room of this exhibition is made from
this.
